I was inspired to research this spell while sitting outside of the local tavern, watching some children play with puppies. They were gleefully running in circles and becoming disoriented, but having quite a bit of fun, nonetheless. I thought to myself, "My! Wouldn’t that be a wonderful and amusing delaying tactic!"

Once cast, Fun with Circles causes the victim to immediately stop what they are doing, hold both arms straight out from their sides and run in a small circle. With a couple of changes to the words, you can also force the victim to make neat "whooshing" sounds while they run. Of course, this is optional. The caster is able to affect 2 people per level. The victim gets to make a saving throw; If successful, it simply does not work on the intended victim.

You may be asking yourself, "Now, exactly why would I want to cast this spell?" First off, let me point out the most practical use for it. If the people are busy running in circles, they can’t very well chase you or cast spells. It’s also very hard to fight or shoot arrows while running in circles. In fact, it impossible to do anything other than look very silly. That’s the second use, by the way. Just imagine all of the inappropriate times you could cast this! " OoOoooo . . I love parades *zap!*" or "Look! It’s the queen’s guard. You know, they say they never laugh . .*zap!*"
