Melcharech Template

The Melcharech are the minions of the Anti-Prophet. That is not to say that they do not have considerable power unto themselves. Their most powerful ability, most would say, is that they are immune to harm from persons of certain philisophical views. Unless one has the right moral fiber, they simply cannot be harmed.

Melcharech is a template that can be added to any corporeal humanoid creature that has been personally selected by the Anti-Prophet. The only restriction is that there can only be 13 Melcharech upon the Primes at any one time. Upon transformation into a Melcharech, the characters type immediately changed to that of "outsider, evil". Melcharech can also become undead, if the corporeal restriction is met.

Hit Dice: Increase to d10
Speed: Same as base character
Armor Class: Melcharech gain +4 natural armor (though this is considered a profane bonus
Damage: All successful melee or touch attacks deal 1 point of strength damage. Melcharech usually fight with martial weapons but if disarmed they use a touch attack (melee), that uses negative energy dealing 1d8+5 points of damage to living creatures.
Special attacks: Retains all character abilities and gains those listed below. Saves vs. these abilities have a DC of 10+character level+CHA modifier
  • Damage Immunity: Immune to damage from anyone not of a Lawful Good alignment. This must be adjudicated by the DM. All spells cast by those of non-LG alignment simply pass through the Melcharech with no effect.
  • Spell Resistance: Each Melcharech gains SR 10+1/2 character level beyond 10th.
  • Abyssal Blast: 1/day the Melcharech can unleash a blast of abyssal fire. The blast explodes in a 20' radius anywhere within a range of 200' + 20'/character level. The blast inflicts 1d6 points of damage/level (to a maximum of 15d6). Reflex save for half, though the damage is considered unholy and is not subject to normal resistances and immunities.
